"Adam und Eva" 1st birthday

One year ago today, our opera Adam und Eva had its premiere in Schwetzingen. I can’t let this day go by without acknowledging the efforts of nearly 100 people onstage and behind the scenes, whose collaboration brought Anne-May Krüger’s text and my music to this first performance. My heart is still full of overwhelmingly mixed emotions when I think back on that evening, as if it were yesterday. Here is a split-screen video of the final moments with a view into the pit.
