"Pas de deux" reach out project

As a father of six and grandfather of nine, I have a very big place in my heart for children. So I jumped at the opportunity to expand my commissioned work for the Kammerorchester Basel, Pas de deux, to include around 40 young string players. Together with stage director Salome Im Hof, we conceived a project for Basel Gyggt — an outreach program offering free instruction on string instruments — focusing on dance and group dynamics.

I haven’t seen so many happy faces since Christmas. It was such fun!
