Sextet versions of the Violin Concerto and Snare Drum Concerto

My weeklong artist-in-residence at the Mishima Contemporary Music Days in Mishima Japan was not only full of memorable concerts both playing and conducting, but gave birth to new versions of my Violin Concerto and Snare Drum Concerto for sextet were premiered there. Scored for the classic „pierrot plus percussion“ set-up of flute, clarinet, violin, violoncello, piano and percussion the performers were Shino Saito (flute), Nina Janßen-Deinzer (clarinet), Junya Makino (violin), Miłosz Drogowski (violoncello), Takuya Otaki (piano), Shingo Takase (percussion).
